Pak tallerken og bestik hjemmefra, og kig forbi når Festivalpladsen i Kødbyen endnu engang forvandles til et sandt smørrebrødsparadis!

Til Smørrebrødets Dag 2026 samles nogle af landets mest anerkendte smørrebrødsrestauranter for at hylde den danske frokostklassiker med både traditionsrige favoritter og nye kreative fortolkninger.

Smørrebrødet lever i bedste velgående og begejstrer fortsat på tværs af generationer. På restauranter landet over mødes klassisk håndværk, sæsonens råvarer og moderne idéer i en kærlig hyldest til rugbrødet.

Festivalpladsen forvandles igen til et smørrebrødsmarked, hvor du med poletter kan smage dig gennem et væld af signaturserveringer fra alle stande.

Bæredygtigt fanget fisk på smørrebrødsmenuen
Smørrebrødets Dag 2026 præsenteres i samarbejde med AB Catering, BC Catering og INCO, som leverer dagens skånsomt fangede fisk.

Det praktiske
Smørrebrødsmarkedet er åbent fra kl. 11.00–15.00, og poletter købes på Festivalpladsen.

Smørrebrød købes med poletter, som kan købes på Festivalpladsen på dagen. Én polet koster 55 kr. og giver ét stykke smørrebrød.

Medbring egen tallerken og bestik.

Smørrebrødets Day Market 2026

Bring your own plate and cutlery from home and stop by as the Festival Square in Kødbyen once again transforms into a true smørrebrød paradise!


For Smørrebrødets Dag 2026, some of Denmark’s most renowned smørrebrød restaurants gather to celebrate the beloved Danish lunch classic with both traditional favourites and new creative interpretations.


Smørrebrød is more alive than ever and continues to delight generations of guests. Across the country, restaurants combine classic craftsmanship, seasonal ingredients and modern ideas in a loving tribute to Danish rye bread traditions.


The Festival Square will once again transform into a lively smørrebrød market, where you can use tokens to taste your way through a wide range of signature open-faced sandwiches from all participating stands.

Sustainably caught fish on the smørrebrød menu
Smørrebrødets Dag 2026 is presented in collaboration with AB Catering, BC Catering and INCO, who supply the sustainably caught fish featured throughout the day.


Practical information
The smørrebrød market is open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and tokens can be purchased at the Festival Square.


Smørrebrød can be purchased with tokens, which are available at the Festival Site on the day. One token costs DKK 55 and can be exchanged for one piece of smørrebrød.


Please bring your own plate and cutlery.
