Mochi er en sød riskage fra Japan, lavet af dampet asiatisk kortkornet rismel. Nu har du mulighed for at lære at lave denne japanske delikatesse på Mochi Times’ mochi-workshop.

Bliv introduceret til mochiens verden og lær, hvordan du selv kan lave dem derhjemme. Vi gennemgår sammen processen for at lave den traditionelle ichigo daifuku mochi, som består af jordbær og rød bønnepasta, indpakket i risdej. Herefter får du udleveret ingredienserne, og så skal du selv i gang med at lave din egen mochi. Vi afslutter med at nyde vores hjemmelavede mochi i fællesskab.

Under workshoppen vil du også blive introduceret til mochi-is, så du kan smage forskellen mellem denne og den traditionelle mochi.

Bag disken hos Mochi Time finder du Jessica, der er faglært kok og konditor med stor passion for det japanske køkken. Hun har specialiseret sig i mochi-is, som hun laver af dampet asiatisk kortkornet rismel, der vikles rundt om hjemmelavet is. Den japanske dessert håndlaver hun i små partier og kun med naturlige farver fra frugt og grønt.

Learn to make Japanese mochi with Mochi Time

Mochi is a sweet rice cake from Japan, made from steamed Asian short grain rice flour. Now you have the opportunity to learn how to make this Japanese delicacy at Mochi Time’s mochi workshop.


Get introduced to the world of mochi and learn how to make them yourself at home. Together, we will go through the process of making the traditional ichigo daifuku mochi, which consists of a strawberry and red bean paste wrapped in rice dough. After that, you will receive the ingredients and begin making your own mochi. We will end the workshop by enjoying our homemade mochi together.


During the workshop, you will also be introduced to mochi ice cream, so you can taste the difference between this and the traditional mochi.


Your host
Behind the counter at Mochi Time, you'll find Jessica, a trained chef and pastry chef with a deep passion for Japanese cuisine. She has specialized in mochi ice cream, which she makes using steamed Asian short-grain rice flour wrapped around homemade ice cream. This Japanese dessert is handcrafted in small batches using only natural colors from fruits and vegetables.
